Why is FDR better than Herbert Hoover?
The reason why FDR was better than Herbert Hoover was becasue he brought the country back to normal from the depression. Hoover brought us into the deression. Throughout it, poor people who had no homes lived in small shacks outside of cities called “Hoovervilles” and slept in “hoover blankets” which were old newspapers. FDR won the election of 1932 by a landslide against Hoover.
