Why is extra width more expensive than extra height?
The Factory charges more for extra width because the extra amount of material that needs to be stored within the fixed sized housing requires a smaller diameter roller with the same stiffness as the regular, larger roller and this is an extra cost item. Since the enclosure size is the same regardless of width, the smaller roller is required so that the rolled up screen will fit into the same size enclosure. In addition, the fabric is more expensive because we have to get the same strength in a thinner fabric.
