why is everyone raving about the janet jackson 2009 ama performance?
In case you decided to take a nap during the American Music Awards last night, Hiphollywood was on the scene to catch ALL the madness, including celebrity falls…celebrity fails, and a kiss that’s still stirring controversy. Up top is Janet’s 8 min performance that folks were not raving about, unfortunately. We absolutely love Janet, and regardless what folks think, she’s still the baddest chick in game! Rihanna performed “The Wait is Ova”, along with “Hard” sans Jeezy. She was…um….ok. We just need a little more than head-flipping to really call it a great performance. Her blonde hair has toned down a few shades and it looked fab. Her outfit was also the biz, along with some drool-worthy white boots. Pop it for Shakira’s somewhat random performance, along with the entire list of winners. Shakira performed ‘Give It Up to Me’ along with what appeared to be a group of Delta Sigma Thetas…She looked amazing, but we kind of missed those hip rolls and crazy hair. ARTIST OF THE YEAR Tay
