Why is everbody freakin out about the pregnant barbie still?
The problem lies in that many people don’t want their daughters growing up thinking their role in life is to pop out babies. The alarming number of young mothers, many without a stable partner, have lead to a disastrous level of child abandonment, neglect, and mistreatment. Young marriages are doomed from the beginning, as only a minor percentage stay married until their ripe ol’ ages. So of course the greedy capalists that need more slave labour to mass-produce whatever they sell, would want more people having children which they cannot maintain so that they would quit school at 16, go to a low-paying job and repeat what their parents did before them (children at a young age, drop out of school, etc). The activists, i.e.: those that are not passively allowing others to control their fate, are standing up to these big coperations that sell sex, marriage, pop-culture products, and mass underawareness for the society & the world we live in.
