For audit purposes VMRF must tag and track the location of all equipment. When the location of a piece of equipment needs to be changed then the PI is to contact Accounting prior to the move for instructions. If a piece of equipment is no longer in working condition or is no longer needed by the PI, the PI is to notify Accounting for instructions. The VMRF CEO must approve all changes in regards to equipment.
