Why is EPA registration so important?
It proves that the U.S. government has tested the product and has verified its efficacy as a germ killer. If a product makes a claim to kill organisms but does not have an EPA registration number on its label, the product is in violation of federal law. Products which are registered by the EPA assure that all claims on the label were tested under EPA approved protocols and reviewed by the EPA.
