Why is entering or changing credit card details more secure over the website than using the app?
Our mobile application uses industry standard SSL encryption for your security, so you can be sure it is safe. However, as with all apps, it is less easy for you, the customer, to validate that. When you enter credit card details or change your delivery addresses we feel you need more assurance than this. Therefore for your own peace-of-mind we force you to do this via the website. By using the website, you can check the validity of our SSL certificate using the standard browser mechanisms that you are familiar with. Please note that you can still do this from the phone’s mobile browser, so you don’t have to go to your PC if you are ‘on the go’!
