Why is Eating Disorder Treatment So Important?
Over the years, eating disorder treatments have made great differences in the lives of men and women throughout the United States. However, eating disorders are far less likely to be treated than say drug addiction or alcoholism. This is unfortunate because, as with drug addiction or alcoholism, if the individual does not receive eating disorder treatment, the eating disorder will continue to progress over time with serious medical and psychological consequences.
