WHY IS DR. REAMS IDEAL pH DIFFERENT THAN WHAT OTHERS TEACH?
The ideal pH, according to Dr. Reams’s lifetime of work in agriculture, animal and human health, is 6.40. There is no doubt, based on my experience in agriculture and human health with Dr. Reams’s work, that Dr. Reams was the only one I’m aware of to date who thoroughly understood the how, where and whys of pH as connected to the frequencies of biologic life. Whereas others who propound higher pH readings as “ideal,” do not understand body chemistry. They typically arrive at their misunderstandings by looking at the pH of blood and then assume their conclusions. Blood pH has to maintain a very narrow margin between 7.35 and 7.45 in order to maintain life. Blood pH is not the same as the pH of extracellular fluids and this is where those assumptions fall apart. In addition, those who teach a higher pH as “ideal” do not understand the “real” aspects that pH represents in body chemistry.
