Why is DFO no longer funding Fisheries Management projects with these additional funds, such as adding more fisheries officers in key areas?
The Federal Budget 2007 provided new funding to address the impact of the Federal Court of Canada decisions on DFOs science programs. This funding was clearly earmarked for scientific activities.
