Why is deer meat, venison, a particularly good meat to eat?
I have been eating venison since I was a young girl, and it is delicious when prepared correctly. Venison is high in protein and Iron and lower in fat and cholesterol. So it is a very healthy choice. Venison may be eaten as steaks, roasts, and sausages, jerky and in stew. My favorite ways to prepare are chicken fried steak, dried sausage and jerky.
