Why is Dedication to Education in September and not later in the year?
The school year is packed with events and activities. We chose September for our major fundraiser to minimize event conflicts, and especially to give the PTO enough time to plan any additional fundraisers that may be needed later in the school year. Of course folks are always welcome to give to Douglass PTO’s Non Profit 501(c)(3) organization at any time of the year. Just make sure your check is written out with our PTO tax id # found at the bottom of every webpage.
