Why is deconstruction used to analyze texts?
Deconstruction is used to expand the reader’s analytical skills, as well as show that language cannot pin down one meaning, thus leaving room for numerous interpretations. Deconstruction shows the multiple layers of meaning at work in language, and the infinite number of interpretations clearly show his purpose and how language is vague and meaning is textual.
