Why is DARS at Temple University?
DARS will give you access to more accurate, more useful information about your progress toward your degree and more flexibility in exploring your academic options. For example, if you are contemplating changing your major, a “What-if” DARS will be able to show you automatically how your completed course work applies to your new major and which completed courses would or would not count toward your new program. How will I obtain information from DARS? DARS is available for all matriculated students enrolled in Temple undergraduate programs. A Web version of your DARS report is available to view or print through OWLnet. This version is updated 23 times a year. (See schedule.) What is a “What-if” DARS? This special DARS is an audit that answers the question “What-if” I declare an additional major or change my major.
