Why is dabbling in scientology the hot thing for celebrities right now?
Jason Beghe recently LEFT Scientology, even recorded a lengthy interview in which he called Scientology a waste of time and a scam. I haven’t heard a word about David Duchovny joining, but Travolta and Cruise are long time members. They aren’t joining just today. I think Will Smith is the only recent inductee. As for WHY it’s so attractive to Hollywood stars, well… they receive preferential treatment. Free services, specially trained “celebrity” auditors, a luxurious and exclusive “Celebrity Center”, etc. Scientology is a cult and as such is especially adept at mind control and brainwashing. TV and movie stars are not immune to such tactics and can get sucked in just like anyone else who isn’t forewarned about the dangers of the “Church” of Scientology.
