Why is Count von Count aka The Count Is Just Another Of Many Fun Sesame Street Google images?
Last week I posted an article which said that Google is celebrating Sesame Street’s 40th anniversary with a bunch of Google Doodles. Sadly, I was away this weekend and I don’t know who featured in Google Sesame Street images, but today it’s time for Count von Count. The Count first featured in Sesame Street on November 27th, 1972 and it was a vampire who was teaching kids math and who loved to count. Count von Count was designed in order to resemble Bela Lugosi, a famous Hungarian actor who played Count Dracula on Broadway and in the subsequent movie. The Muppet character from the Sesame Street was one of kids’ favorites because he provided an odd sense of humor. Count von Count has a car called the Countmobile, he lived in a house full of bats, he used to count the bats, and he even named the bats. The Count even had a girlfriend called Countess von Backwards, however, he has a new one now called Countess Dahling von Dahling. [That’s two more girlfriends than I will ever have]. Well,
