Fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal have limited availability and are price volatile. On average it only takes four months to grow a renewable energy such as corn. By using corn for heating purposes, we can assist in decreasing our use of fossil fuels and other rapidly depleting energy sources. By reducing the demand of fossil fuels, their cost will stabilize. Burning corn and renewable energies for heating our homes allows us to support our local communities and their economies by keeping our business local and reducing the need of importing fuel. Does the Winchester start by itself? The Winchester has an optional automatic ignition system that can be ordered separately.
