Why is commercial vinyl tile so popular?
Commercial areas are typically much larger than residential ones, so it is always nice to have an inexpensive flooring solution. That’s why you see vinyl in so many public places. And, because it is so durable, vinyl tile is perfect for places that get a lot of foot traffic – like shopping malls and grocery stores. However, vinyl tile isn’t right for all commercial spaces. For example, it is not a good choice for a busy commercial kitchen. If you were to drop a knife on it, your vinyl may tear. Or, if you were to drop a can of vegetables on your vinyl, it could chip or dent it. Luckily, though, cases where vinyl tile can’t be used are rare. In most situations, it’s the perfect flooring choice!
