Why is Clean Access taking a long time to scan my PC for vulnerabilities?
A. This is normal depending how tough your firewall is. Clean Access is trying to penetrate your firewall to find vulnerabilities. Each test has a certain amount of time to complete, if not completed, it times out and moves on to the next test. This causes a longer total scan time. This really means your firewall is working properly and should be enabled at all times. If Clean Access can’t penetrate your firewall, chances are that no one else can take control of your PC with a virus, worm, etc.
