Why is Children International raising the requested contribution amount for our sponsorship program to $22?
A. The expenses associated with assisting more than 320,000 children in 18 field project locations are immense, and inflation is on the rise in most of the countries where we work. Steadily rising costs are making it increasingly difficult to provide meaningful, substantial benefits to our sponsored children. Because our purchasing power just doesn’t stretch as far as it has in the past, we have had to make this difficult decision to increase our sponsorship contribution amount. Your additional contribution will help ensure your child continues to enjoy the highest level of quality services and programs we can provide.
