Why is cardboard only collected monthly and not fortnightly like other recyclables?
Every effort has been made to introduce a cardboard collection borough-wide whilst as much as possible using existing resources, this has led us to us initially starting collections on a monthly basis. However, the new service will be under constant review and if tonnages and public feedback suggest that fortnightly collections will be more appropriate then we may be able to increase collection frequency.
