Why is car park virtually unused?
COULD I put the other side of the question of parking in Marsh. Many roads in Marsh are resident only, without any complaints from the shop-keepers. This means all the parking is on the few remaining streets. The proposed parking limits are one side of the road only, leaving ample room for shoppers if cars are not left there all day. In answer to the remark about not coming to live here, in the 1960s when some of us came, Syringa Street was a quiet residential street, not a car park and a rat run. To conclude, there is a large open space in Syringa Street called a car park, virtually unused.
