Why is business e-mail address a required field?
The business e-mail address you supply will be used for sending a confirmation of your address change requests, and can also be used by state insurance departments to contact you if they have questions about your requests. The NIPR will never sell or pass your e-mail addresses on to third parties other than the states to which you submit address change requests. You may contact the various state insurance departments to find out their policies regarding the use of e-mail addresses.
