Why is Building Schools for the 21st Century needed in Hillingdon?
There has been a huge amount of improvement over recent years in Hillingdon’s schools as a result of the hard work and dedication of teachers and pupils. However, some of our schools in Hillingdon could be improved in terms of actual buildings and facilities, providing students with learning environments suitable for the 21st Century, including developing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and promoting anytime, anywhere learning. These changes would not only benefit students, but provide access to education and facilities for the whole community.
