Why is BitTorrent now downloading when I was previously seeding?
This occurs if any of the files you’re uploading are modified between the time you began seeding and the next time BitTorrent re-checks the data. If a file changes, it causes the piece(s) containing it to fail the hash check, and accordingly, BitTorrent will throw the piece out (thus causing the switch to downloading mode).
