Guest13365317 Baeyers test is negative for aromatics, there are no double bonds in benzene despite the common drawing of it, electron are delocalized in the pi system of the 6 carbons (pi orbitals of each carbon overlap with each other) and since there are no double bonds the permanganate does not react.
