Why is beeswax the best candle material?
Beeswax is an all natural substance that burns without smoking or forming soot. Unlike paraffin which is a by-product of crude oil refining, beeswax burns cleanly and beautifully, and lasts longer than other candles. Beeswax candles burn with the spectrum of the sun emitting a brighter, longer burning flame. Beeswax candles naturally emit negative ions which clean the air and invigorate the body. Like a rain storm, which is a negatively charged event, burning beeswax will actually clean the air. This happens when negative ions attach to positively charged particles such as dust, molds and other contaminants. The contaminants then drop to the ground where they can be vacuumed up. Beeswax gets its color and aroma from the honey and pollen packed into each honeycomb cell. Our candles are 100% beeswax and is never chemically treated or bleached.
