Why is Bamberg a particularly good place to take a German course?
Bamberg is a medium-sized town with around 70 000 inhabitants and really is one of the most picturesque towns in Germany. We are often asked why we didn’t open the school in one of the larger cities such as Munich, Hamberg, Berlin, Cologne or Frankfurt. There are several reasons. Here are a few which strike us as particularly important and which have been frequently confirmed by our students: • So many people – locals and visitors alike – feel that Bamberg is a romantic idyll. In a relatively confined space, it exhibits a range of characteristics which are especially typical of the German people and the country.
