Why is ASRC Federal rolling out a Compliance Program now?
A new Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) PART 3.10 came into effect on December 24, 2007, requiring companies with government contracts valued at over $5 million to implement a formal ethics and compliance program. This program includes the implementation of: • A written code of business ethics and conduct (Standards of Ethics and Business Conduct), • An ethics awareness program, • An ethics hotline for reporting violations, and • Internal control systems to monitor compliance.
