Why is anthropomorphism bad?

0

It’s not dangerous, it’s just unrealistic. Anthropomorphism is not “bad” – it is a result of our humanity. We recognize the human-like behaviors and emotions in other animals, and we care for them, as pets and co-habitants of this planet. Unfortunately it can also distort our perception of nature. Animals are a food source – for one another and us. It’s not pretty. Animals can also be used as test subjects for experimentation. Also not pretty, but tell that to someone whose suffering has been relieved by medicines developed in this way.
