Why is an electric vehicle better than a petrol one?
Electric vehicles are much more pleasant to ride because they are almost silent and very easy to control. They make no fumes and no smells (so you could drive around indoors if you had the space), which makes them zero-emissions vehicles. This is obviously good for your immediate environment, but it’s also better for the planet, as electrical power is far more efficient than petrol. Because electric vehicles have so few consumable parts (ie things that wear out) in comparison with petrol vehicles, there is a lot less that can go wrong and fewer items that need maintenance. It’s possible a properly cared-for e-motive could go for years without needing spares or repairs.
