Why is an Ebook packed in a .ZIP file, and how do I open a .ZIP file?

Ebooks can be resized (or compressed) with Winzip. This makes the file smaller to download. If you download a .zip file, you’ll need to have a copy of WinZip to open the file. You can download a free version of WinZip here. Once you’ve downloaded the ZIP file, just double-click the icon to open it. Select all the files in the WinZip window, click ‘Extract’, and select a folder on your system to extract the file(s) to. Go to that folder and double-click the icon to open the file(s). I downloaded an .EXE Ebook but I get an error message when I try to open it. Note that .EXE formatted Ebooks are compatible with Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, 2000 and XP -with Internet Explorer. If your PC doesn’t have Windows installed, then that’s most likely the cause of the problem.
