‘America’s Most Wanted’ filming segment on Brenham girl’s death The mother of a Brenham child who died last year says she is hopeful a segment being filmed by “America’s Most Wanted” will help bring a suspected killer to justice. An AWC film crew will be here this week, filming the story of 2 1/2-year-old Alexia Lopez, who died in March 2008 from internal injuries. Authorities say the injuries were consistent with being hit in the stomach. Alexia’s former caregiver, Berny Mayel Figueroa, is still being sought in the case.
