Why Is America A Socialist Country?

0

The US actually has the Third LOWEST tax rate in the entire industrialized world. And we are NOT a Socialist country in that wealth is being redistributed downwards to those who need it most, we are a Reverse Socialist country in that wealth is being redistributed UPWARDS to those who need it least. Conservatives/ Republicans decry the “nanny state” and Big Government when it works for the majority of Americans, but they have NO problem with BIGGER Government when it works for them and their rich friends.

Mild Socialism in America is acceptable when it comes to publicly funded roads, fire departments, and police stations, but socialism in the education system has not helped kids. Since the Department of Education was established in 1980, instead of kids learning about the Founding Fathers and the Constitution in civics class, they are taking a course on “how to be better global citizens”. The problem lies with both globalization and socialism, equally.
