Why is Adenosine triphospate considered as the energy currency?

It’s kind of the same thing. Energy storage is kind of a bank, which holds on to lots of resources, such as stocks, bonds, gold, properties, cash, etc. Likewise, your body draws energy from various sources, such as fat stored in your adipose tissue, glycogen stored in your liver, or, if desperate, protein stored in your muscles. ATP is kind of like cold hard cash. Most processes in your body are driven by breaking one of the P’s off of an ATP molecule and using the energy released. What this comes down to is, energy storage is sort of your body’s way of keeping in stock things that can be used to make ATP (fat, protein, carbs). Everything in your body actually runs, though, on the ATP itself, the energy currency.
