Why is access to an updated media contact list so important?
Most fights for change are fought in the media. There are numerous groups out there working against productive change. If the progressive movement hopes to combat these messages they have to be able to reach out to the media on a similar level. Unfortunately, most progressive groups lack the financial resources to do so. If we are able to provide them with this resource, they will be able to reach out to the media. By saving money on access to media lists, these groups can spend their financial resources on other important issues like lobbying for key policy change.
