Why is Access the target platform for the AMW?
Several reasons. 1) More of our customers ask for Access conversions than any other platform. Many IT departments are now mandating Microsoft platforms. 2) The technical challenges presented by Access are less formidable for most people comfortable with DataEase applications than in other environments. i.e. Access is simpler than most other options. 3) There are numerous tools available – in the same vein as our AMU – that will convert Access applications to many other target platforms.
