Why is ACAP important?
On average, an E-6 or below (with less than a Bachelors Degree) who completes ACAP will earn $7,300.00 more per year than someone who does not utilize ACAP services. ACAP is a recruiting multiplier: 83% of those who complete ACAP would recommend the Military as a career. The Army has benefited from over $100 million (35%) decrease in Unemployment Insurance costs since 1992. This decrease leaves more dollars for mission operations.
