Why is Abe blue when most Mudokons are green?
In ancient Mudokon prophecies, it was foretold that a Mudokon born with “skin of blue” would be the race’s saviour and rescue his people from slavery at the hands of the Magog Cartel. As for an actual reason, it’s difficult to say. Alf has claimed that Abe once held a volume of Paramite juice in his mouth for five whole minutes, but more likely it is due to Mudokons’ chameleonic skin. We saw in Abe’s Exoddus that sad Mudokons turn blue, and Abe is burdoned with a sad and hefty duty. The real explanation, of course, is that Oddworld Inhabitants made Abe blue so he would stand out on a screen full of other Mudokons.
