Why is a Telephone Entry System (TES) better than an intercom system?
The TES does not require special wiring throughout the residence and it has a much more extensive feature set. Some of these features include: auto lock/unlock schedules, do not disturb schedules, card or code entry for the resident, call forwarding when the resident will be at a different phone number, controlled and scheduled entrance for services like gardeners and housekeepers.
