Why is a sloping ladder not suitable for adventure beds?
Sloping ladders without handrails have serious disadvantage. The danger of an accident is higher because the sloping steps with wide step rungs can lead to typical accidents. If children use such steps they are liable to slip. This danger is particularly apparent if sloping steps are used backwards. More about accident prevention… The standard vertical ladder from WOODLAND with gripping handles is, in contrast, a much better choice: a child can easily grip onto the round wooden handles of the ladder than flat steps. If they do slip on the rungs then they can more easily get a firmer grip. Also daily climbing strengthens and trains the child’s muscles more than the comfortable wide rungs on sloping ladders.
