Why is a ShowShifter recording made up of several files?
ShowShifter splits up a recording into several files so that it can make better use of the space on your hard disk. The largest chunk will be no bigger than 632Mb, which means that you can store them onto CD if you so wish. The file you should play is the one without .00, .01 etc on the end, by playing the first one, ShowShifter knows to continue through the others. In the ‘Other Settings’ page you can set the chuck size of an .avi and .ssf file.
