WHY IS A SHALLOW WELLS A GOOD INVESTMENT?
A. Actually a shallow well is one of the few investments for your home that will actually pay for itself. Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE A SHALLOW WELL TO PAY FOR ITSELF? A. At the current utility rate, a shallow well — depending on the system you chose — can pay for itself in 18 to 24 months. With increases in water rate or usage, any system will pay for itself in less time. Q. IS THERE SHALLOW WELL WATER AVAILABLE IN MY YARD? A. This question has been asked a number of times over the years. In most areas, there is available shallow well water, but the big question is, will it sustain pumping. If you dig a 5 to 15 foot deep hole and leave it, overnight water will seep into the hole. (Water seeks its on level) This water, however will not sustain a pump when installed.
