Why is a second major required for Cinema students?
Filmmakers need to know something to make films about, so we require you to pursue a second major or double minor in another field of your choice. VCU offers many fields to select from for a second major. Because students cannot initially be admitted into more than one major, you would add the second major during the fall semester of your first year.
