Why is a natural bristle better than a synthetic bristle for dry brushing?

Pure natural bristle, especially plant bristle has tiny hooks and imperfections which gather the dead skin while sweeping over the body, leaving the skin with that healthy glow. Where as, nylon, synthetic bristle or gloves are smooth and do not offer any health benefits or the same type of exfoliation. The tiny hooks and imperfections of the plant bristle are so good at picking up debris that I have a client who successfully removed head lice with the Japanese Body Brush.
