Why is a lottery needed? Can all campers and PAs come to camp?

All campers and PAs are placed into a lottery every year. Once we have all the adults registered, we can then start the placement process for campers and PA’s. Unfortunately, sometimes, not all campers can be accommodated. Our camp can only operate within the number of adult volunteers so that we comply with Safety Wise requirements. If we do not get enough FULL TIME adults that can accommodate all our campers, a lottery is the fairest way of placing individuals into camp.
