Why is a CGIProxy referred to as a MySpace Proxy?
Often, they aren’t! A CGIProxy will only ever be referred to as a MySpace Proxy if they would like you to use their proxy for anonymously surfing on MySpace at school / work to hack through their filters. NOTE: If a CGIProxy is not called a MySpace Proxy, it does not mean you cannot use it to access MySpace; it just means that they were looking for their proxy to be used for multiple uses. The same applies if you see a so called “MySpace Proxy,” it can still be used to surf other sites.
