There are many reasons. One, A company can take only one corporate agency for doing life insurance. Therefore we had to choose form amongst one PSU Life Insurance Company and 13 (then) Private Life Insurance Companies. There are no products with other private life insurance companies that LIC do not have. Third, LIC’s service is highly satisfactory now. Fourth, with nation wide network of offices, a huge life fund and satisfactory track record, ordinary investors repose confidence in LIC.
