Remote construction and site management technology – the name is a jargon by itself. `Remote’ has an element of implicit `Trust’ that is not often regarded as a great virtue in construction industry. In the Indian construction industry, the financial investor and the site developer are often not the same people. Even the property developing partner (Construction guy) in the JV (other party being the money guy) sometimes employ a sub-contractor to undertake construction. As such there exists a wide gap that is to be bridged by physical supervision to avoid material pilferage, revenue leakage and ward off underhand collusion.
