Why Indian politicians are corrupt?
Because they have mixed up with criminals. Now there is no longer any difference between criminals, politicians, bureaucrats, and policemen-they are all the same. People are divided on caste, religious, regional lines-so they cannot unite to fight the real enemy-instead they are kept busy fighting each other. Plus people are now indifferent to each others suffering. The Rich have everything so they couldn’t care less, the Middle Class are in a hurry to leave the country, and the poor are in a hurry to become the Middle Class. So they don’t care about things like right and wrong and other such things. In short we have got these criminals as our leaders because we deserve them.
Why blame the politicians, we have ourselves accepted corruption as way of life. We wouldn’t mind paying that extra bit to get a ticket in black in any theatre or Railway booking. If we are caught violating any traffic rule, first thing we do is take the police man aside and try to bribe him, instead of paying the fine. We know the grocer is giving us adulterated food stuff and still we buy from him. Honestly, do tell me that are you sure that the milk you buy is pure. It is high time we did something about it. If every Indian takes a vow not to indulge in any so called short cuts and stops supporting the corrupt then the corruption will be the thing of the past The Begining has to be made now for “if it has to be it is upto me” should be our attitude.
